Crieff, Perthshire will host the fun-filled activity day for children with a brain tumour and their families on Sat 3 September 2016.
“Our Family Days provide the opportunity for families to have a fun day out together and connect with others who are going through similar experiences," said Emma Percy, Children and Families Worker.
The free to attend days have proven to be a lifeline for parents and families of children with brain tumours to gain support from others going through similar experiences.
With a host of activities available on the day, including climbing, archery, bushcraft, zip wire and crafts, it's a great day out for children and grown-ups alike.
George, 14 and living with a brain tumour regularly attends Family Days in England and knows how important they can be: “It's a break from the everyday and there's always so much to do. We get to have so much fun together and I've made loads of friends on the days."
Emma said: “We are delighted to be holding our next Family Day in Perthshire to help provide support to children with brain tumours and their families in Scotland.
“We know that receiving a brain tumour diagnosis can be a difficult and scary time and are dedicated to improving quality of life for everyone affected.
